Reconnection

2024

Continuity is no longer a given; it is a construct assembled in the aftermath of loss. As the human distances itself from nature, it begins to reproduce it—drawing boundaries, exerting control, sterilizing.
This barbed enclosure does not only define an outside; it architects the inside.
Tile here does not represent tradition; it operates as a fragile threshold. The surface produces an illusion of belonging through its motifs, while simultaneously exposing that this coherence has already collapsed.
What is at stake is not a return, but the exposure of a condition that can now only persist by reproducing the very terms of its own loss.
